Nearly all our compatible & remanufactured imaging supplies (laser, fax, and inkjet cartridges) are made in factories that are ISO9001, ISO14001, and STMC certified. Our factories must produce our products using strict quality control (QC) procedures and utilize continuous process improvements. Raw materials are to be inspected to ensure they meet incoming quality requirements, and all finished cartridges are to be print-tested to insure they function properly prior to final packaging. All cartridges are to be traceable with unique lot number stickers in case there is a quality issue. The factories are to perform cartridge life-cycle testing confirming that page yields are at least equal to the OEM cartridge along with similar print quality.

• Our compatible & remanufactured cartridges now have a 1-year Warranty to be free from defects in material workmanship and performance.
• If at any time, our cartridges fail to perform, we will replace the cartridge or issue a credit.
• All returned cartridges are weighed, and if a cartridge is found to be empty or with less than 10% volume, then no refund or free replacement will be given.
• Our warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation, modification, or abuse of the cartridge.
• We will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind.
• If the laser printer or MFP device is found to have been damaged due to the use of our compatible or remanufactured toner cartridges, then we will reimburse for the repair or replacement of the machine for up to one year from the date of purchase.
• We reserve the right to hire an independent technician to determine the cause of any reported machine damage.
• To process an RMA, resellers will need the following:
  1. Part number of item and invoice that the cartridge was purchased on. If no invoice is provided, we will use the most recent invoice to return against.
  2. Batch number on the cartridge that is defective and to be returned. We can not process the return without this information provided. Batch numbers are located on the cartridge itself and is alpha-numeric.
  3. Do not discard the defective cartridge until information is provided on how to finish processing the RM

Our 1-Year Warranty does not include:

• Unopened or unused product in or out of packaging. Resellers have 60 days to return any unused toner cartridges and there will be a 15% restocking fee assessed.
• Resellers requesting a return label will be charged $18.50 per label.

In June of last year, I had the honor of purchasing Supplies Wholesalers. Sadly, those expected promises had not been met for some time.

As the new Owner, my commitment to SW and their dealers is unwavering. Immediately, a conscious and definitive decision was made to address the rampant stock-out issues. This challenge was addressed by making a substantial capital investment in product for all three SW warehouses. Additionally, rigorous quality control measures were established so our SW dealer partners can have complete confidence the product they are purchasing is of the highest quality. Lastly, our Team has tirelessly worked with each SW warehouse to ensure orders placed the same day, ship the same day. It is my belief, this has been accomplished.

I am proud of the progress we have made the past few months putting SW back in a position of strength and maximized competitiveness. Your support during the difficult times has been appreciated. The SCOTUS did indeed rule against Lexmark and in favor of the aftermarket on both Patent Exhaustion and  First Sale Doctrine on Tuesday, May 30^th.…This is a huge victory for the aftermarket!

According to Chief Justice Roberts: “Patent exhaustion reflects the principle that, when an item passes into commerce, it should not be shaded by a legal cloud on title as it moves through the marketplace.”

Effective immediately:

1. Lexmark exhausted its patent rights in the Return Program cartridges that it sold in the United States. A patentee’s decision to sell a product, exhausts all of its patent rights in that item, regardless of any restrictions the patentee purports to impose. The “conditional sale” (Prebate or Use & Return) cartridges are now legal to remanufacture.

2. The First Sale Doctrine has also been overturned. This means an authorized sale outside the United States, just as one within the United States, exhausts all rights under the Patent Act. Cartridges sold anywhere in the world can now be remanufactured and legally sold into the United States.

As an aside, this ruling also takes away a major weapon the OEM’s have been using to sue the aftermarket for IP infringement. To read the complete article from ENX Magazine, click here.
