As we begin 2023, I would like to personally thank all of our partners for the opportunity to serve your company. We at Supplies Wholesalers look forward to an exciting year and all the blessings it will provide!

In June of last year, I had the honor of purchasing Supplies Wholesalers. After navigating through those early days of the journey, it became abundantly clear many issues needed to be addressed and a firmer foundation needed to be established. You as our customers were accustomed to stock being at appropriate levels and the quality of the product offered being the very best in the industry. Sadly, those expected promises had not been met for some time.

As the new Owner, my commitment to SW and their dealers is unwavering. Immediately, a conscious and definitive decision was made to address the rampant stock-out issues. This challenge was addressed by making a substantial capital investment in product for all three SW warehouses. Additionally, rigorous quality control measures were established so our SW dealer partners can have complete confidence the product they are purchasing is of the highest quality. Lastly, our Team has tirelessly worked with each SW warehouse to ensure orders placed the same day, ship the same day. It is my belief, this has been accomplished.

I am proud of the progress we have made the past few months putting SW back in a position of strength and maximized competitiveness. Your support during the difficult times has been appreciated. Please know our commitment is to continue providing dealers superior product at the lowest industry price.

Thank you again for the “privilege of partnership.” If you have moved away from SW, I encourage you to give us a second look. I am certain you will be pleased with the results. For those partners who stuck with us during the hard times, thank you! Know we are back and better than ever. First and foremost, we at Supplies Wholesalers greatly appreciate your partnership. During this challenging year, we have worked diligently to ensure your business needs have been met. Though we experienced specific product challenges earlier this year, we believe our stock position has returned to the levels you expect and believe 2023 will be a successful year and one where we can both grow together.

Freight challenges continue to play a significant role in our go-to-market strategies. As many businesses have not completely returned to the office, and the “work from home” paradigm is still in effect, our primary carriers (UPS and FedEx) are facing the brunt of increased shipments to home offices. Additionally, to due substantial growth in e-commerce and online fulfillment by consumers, box counts with these carriers are at some of their highest levels.

These facts influence our business in several ways. Shipments can be delayed as these carriers struggle to meet “time in transit” obligations. Freight costs are increasing as carriers react to these new market conditions. An increase in residential deliveries adds another layer of complexity to the freight cost structure. At Supplies Wholesalers, we have always sought to work with our partners to provide competitive freight rates, which includes Ontrac and USPS. Our Primary goal is to provide economical logistics solutions for our dealers.

Starting January 9th, 2023, we will be adjusting our freight programs slightly, while still being as competitive as we have been. These changes in rates will be announced the week of January 3rd. Please know we are taking all steps possible to minimize the long-term effects of freight increases to our dealer partners.
